This is a look back to season 3. DISCLAIMER: I didn't follow the Korean or Chinese scene much in Season 3, so I didn't have enough knowledge to comment.
Coming into the European LCS Spring Split, Elements, formerly known as Alliance, were favorites to take first place. Unfortunately, they’ve hit a road block this year.
We are now half way through the North American LCS Spring Split, and it certainly has been quite a ride. Some teams, like Team SoloMid and Counter Logic Gaming, continue to impress in several of their games.
In a post on their website earlier tonight, Team Liquid announced that former world champion AD carry Piglet would be benched for week 5 of North American LCS.
The North American LCS brought us some extremely entertaining games during Week 3, and this week certainly showed many teams stepping up and others faltering into lower standings.
During week 2 of the North American LCS, ten more awesome games were played, and many of them were finished quicker than usual (Gravity vs. Dignitas outstanding #80minutesthedream).
